Luciano Francescon is an italian artist based in Milan.
His practice is rooted in the continuous contamination of techniques, materials, and colors. It is shaped by an experimental approach focused on transformation and hybridization. Functional elements shift into autonomous presences.
His creatures are mysterious and self-sufficient entities. They invite us to question what we define as living and to recognize life wherever it manifests itself. They emerge from the encounter between roots (gathered from trees that have fallen naturally), destined to support, and threads, created to bind. From transitional tools, roots and threads merge into independent bodies, endowed with presence, breath, and complete form. They do not support, they do not connect, they exist.
