Luciano Francescon is an Italian artist based in Milan.
His practice is rooted in the contamination of techniques and colors, driven by an experimental approach focused on transformation and hybridization. His research explores the relationship between the marginal and the structural: by decontextualizing utilitarian elements from both natural events and industrial frameworks, his work gently interrupts their intended purpose to create new, hybrid bodies.
Suspended between vegetal, artificial, and animal states, these autonomous presences manifest as silent, self-sufficient entities. Moving beyond their original function, they merge into independent bodies endowed with presence and complete form, exploring alternative modes of existence that emerge when everyday structures and natural ecosystems shift.
